This is Sofala Saffron Spice.
Nearly 2 years ago Spice had a terrible accident which resulted in her sustaining a fracture to her spine. She had had quite a lot of success in the show ring but this was brought to an abrupt end.
We could never have anticipated that we would be bringing our skills to the front on one of our own dogs. We were also fortunate in having a specialist orthopedic surgeon within 20 minutes as time is one of the essential factors when injuries such as this happen. Since surgery and rehabilitation we have seen a steady progress from paraplegia to this wonderful athletic bitch.
There have been changes continuously and even 6 months ago she couldn't race as she is doing now.
