Sofala has had another round of success at Manchester Championship show.
Sofala Saracen wins 1st place Limit Dog
Sofala Lincoln wins 1st Open Dog, Dog CC [ 9th] and Best of Breed
Sofala Jefferson wins 1st Veteran Dog and Best Veteran
Sofala Shangiliwa wins 1st Junior Bitch, 2nd Open Bitch and Res CC

Sofala Shangiliwa was Best Bitch at South Wales Championship show 8th October and *BEST IN SHOW* at Southern Rhodesian Ridgeback show on October 18th 2009.
Sofala Jefferson was awarded res Dog CC after winning best Veteran Dog at Rhodesian Ridgeback club of GB September 27th
Ch Sofala Lincoln wins 8th CC and Best of Breed at Richmond Ch Show

Ch Ir Ch Diamondridge Dancing with Sofala wins Best in Show at Southern Rhodesian Ridgeback club Championship show 2003 under hound specialist Viv Phillips.
Sofala Shangiliwa was awarded Best of breed at the Vale Agricultural show 19th August.
However at Welsh kennel Club Championship show 21st August SOFALA 'DID THE DOUBLE'! A very proud moment. Sofala Shangiliwa was awarded the Bitch CC at 12 months old and Ch Sofala Lincoln was awarded his 7th CC and Best of Breed.
7th June 2009 Saracen wins * BEST IN SHOW* at Risca Canine Society . This win qualifies him for Welsh Dog of The Year competition 2010.
21st June 2009 Saracen wins 1st Limit Dog at Border Union Championship show.

Sofala has also had a very enjoyable time at our local shows:
Sofala Sebakwe who hasn't been shown for around 5 years because he just wasn't enjoying it, has had a very successful return to the show ring by being awarded Best Veteran Dog at the World Congress Show in Ireland 2008 and Best Veteran in Show at the Rhodesian Ridgeback Club of GB Champion ship show 21st September 2008. He did enjoy his day out and he will be returning to more shows in the future.
Saransai was placed 2nd in Mid Limit Bitch class at the same show
Weds 20th August at the Vale Agricultural Show Seb - Sofala Sebakwe - at the age of 8 1/2 won Best of Breed and was placed 2nd in the Hound Group. Subsequently Sofala Saransai won Best of Breed and was placed 1st in the Hound Group at Port Talbot and Neath Canine Society on Saturday August 23rd held in the beautiful setting of Margam Park.
Richmond Championship Show 2008: it was a very wet and muddy but Sofala had a very successful day.

Owned and shown by Mrs. Alison Bowlus, Lincoln was placed best in Show at the recent Southern Ridgeback Association show.

On 31st May at the Southern Counties Championship Show , Sofala Lincoln was awarded the Dog CC - his third ,so subject to kennel club approval he is now a champion. Well done Alison for her superb handling
August 2008 - We are celebrating the continuing success of Ch Sofala Lincoln - winning Open Dog class at both the Hound Association and at Bournemouth Championship shows. At Bournemouth he was also awarded Res CC. Well done Lincoln and Alison!

At Crufts 2008 Sofala Sequence won her class (Post Graduate Bitch) under breed specialist Mrs Elisabeth Megginson from South Africa. Her litter brother Sofala Statesman owned by Mrs Jan Ensor also won his classes, Post Grad Dog and Mid Limit Dog
