Sofala Shangiliwa's trip to Denmark!

After much careful research we have found a very suitable mate for our beautiful Sofala Shangiliwa - 'Ghili'

Not the easiest option as Bakari lives in Denmark  which involves 2 days driving from here. We set off one Sunday morning early, crossed the channel by Eurotunnel and drove through France Belgium and Germany before stopping for the first night in Bremen.Fortunately the hotel had a field so that Ghili could enjoy her exercise.

As is usual in Europe Ghili was welcomed into the hotel.  

The following morning we drove through the remainder of Germany and into Denmark.  

The only bad decision was to follow the Sat Nav's instruction to cross to the island by ferry. Such a small one on such a rough day! All ferry routes have now been eliminated from it's programme.

The motorway on the return journey looked longer but was in fact much quicker and far more stable...

We enjoyed wonderful hospitality from Poul and Netti who had found us a delightful typical cottage to stay in for a few days  and whilst there we had the opportunity to visit the local town Svendborg.

Multi Int. Ch Tusani Cool Bakari is one of the top winning dogs in Europe and also has a lovely temperament,he has also sired some beautiful progeny.

We pleased that Sofala Shangiliwa has been scanned and her puppies are due on December 28th 2011.
